The 1.6 has either 16 or 19 bhp more to start with, as you start tuning that gap is going to get bigger, not smaller.

Its not worth fitting cams onto these engines with standard management as you cant use vernier pullies. This leaves you will a fairly mild cam thats cost isn't really worth the gain.

140bhp my ass......

unichip or dasktek management. i think u can get a larger throttle body for the 1.4 too, regal or courtney i think do it.

godfather did u sell the cams?

Wolf would it not depend on the cam profile where i would pick up power and perhaps need re map?

Id say headwork 1st as i doubt ul be able to get to the rpm to justify cams, esecially with a lexmaul, will still give a few bhp though.
Cams are only worth the cash on these if you've got throttle boddies + high rpm.

After porting ul probably need a re-map, almost definately after cams.
Try ringing superchip to see if they'll give you a cheap re-map.

Lexmaul Inlet
Viper
De-cat
Janspeed Exhaust manifold
Super chip

has any body gone down the head work and cams route? how much did it cost? what are the gains like?
